Spotlight on Bruce Ramsey
| Bruce Ramsey, M.S., M.B.A. As Program Chair of Franklin’s undergraduate Marketing major, Bruce Ramsey works closely with industry leaders to assure that students receive an education that mirrors today’s fast-paced marketing industry. His duties include recruiting professionals from the marketing field to serve as adjunct Marketing faculty, serving as Lead Faculty to ensure the integrity of each of the major’s courses, and assuring that course content is on the leading edge of industry trends. |

With more than 18 years of professional experience in the field of marketing, Bruce brings in-depth knowledge to his position. Prior to joining Franklin, Bruce served as Director of Marketing for a hospital chain, co-owner of an Internet-based retailer, and co-owner of a training and seminar development firm. He also has extensive experience in video production, having contributed as producer, director, and production manager on more than 150 instructional and promotional video tapes. His commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry is reflected in Bruce’s academic interest areas, which include Internet marketing, the development and implementation of innovative marketing tactics and the study of adult perception, memory and judgment as it relates to marketing messages. Bruce is also a prolific speaker, and has conducted numerous workshops and seminars on topics including relationship marketing, fun in the workplace and teambuilding. Bruce holds a M.S. in Communication from Indiana University, an M.B.A. from Ohio University, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Adult Education with concentrations in Marketing, Cognitive Psychology and Research Methods from The Ohio State University. | |
