| company. He was responsible for establishing mercantile credit lines for the company’s North American customers. George also has experience in the manufacturing sector, where he served as a production and inventory manager. George has been teaching at the college level since 1984 and he has ten years of department chair experience. He also owned and operated Redmond Associates, a business training and consulting company for small businesses. George holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration from Assumption College. He has completed all his requirements for a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University and is currently completing his dissertation on Transformational Leadership. His research interests include leadership and organizational development through the development, enhancement, and the implementation of human-centered intellectual capital within organizations. A secondary interest is exploring the history of management and economic development. George has received many business and academic awards including the National Society of Collegiate Scholars Lifetime Distinguished Member Award, 2003, and The Blue Key Society Teaching Recognition Award six years in a row from 1995-1999. He is a Sam M. Walton Fellow of Free Enterprise, and is often a keynote speaker at various professional functions. George has also appeared on national television, including a segment on World News tonight with Peter Jennings. | |
