• Desktop or Laptop with PIII 500 MHZ CPU (minimum)
• Monitor, 800x600 resolution (minimum)
• 256 MB RAM recommended
• 16 MB Video RAM
• 4 GB or higher of available hard drive space
• CD-ROM drive
• Printer
• Sound Card, Speakers

Hardware Recommendations:

• Monitor, 1024 x 768 resolution

• Microphone for participation in collaborative discussions
• USB (thumb) drive for portable data storage

Operating System and Software

• Windows XP or Windows 2000 recommended
• Microsoft Office XP or Office 2003; includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Microsoft Internet Explorer recommended
• Virus protection – updated with systems scans performed regularly
• Familiarity with Firewall, Pop-Up blocker and anti-spam software helpful
