Demonstrating the kind of innovative thinking that has made Franklin University one of the top specialty business institutions in the nation, the Franklin University Excellence Coin was introduced by President Paul Otte during Franklin’s Summer 2005 Commencement Ceremony.

The coin is a tangible symbol of the significant achievement of Franklin graduates, most of whom earn their degree while working full time and fulfilling many other family and life commitments.

Our goal is to get the Franklin University Excellence Coin into the hands of every Franklin graduate. There are approximately 25,000 living graduates, so we need your help to achieve this goal.

As a Franklin graduate, staff or faculty member, you are invited to pass your coin along when you encounter a Franklin University graduate who does not already have a Franklin University Excellence Coin. The recipient will in turn pass along the coin during a similar encounter, fostering an increased sense of spirit and community among Franklin graduates.

Replacement Coins
After you have passed your coin along to another Franklin University graduate, be sure to request a replacement coin. Be sure to provide the requested information so you can be entered into the $500 coin raffle!
