Accounting Adjunct Faculty

Are you looking for a new twist in applying your accounting knowledge and experience? Do you have the desire to help others develop professionally? Then you may be a perfect fit as an adjunct faculty instructor for Franklin University’s Accounting and Forensic Accounting Majors.
Our world-class Accounting Programs continue to grow. We are seeking qualified accountants to teach courses throughout our comprehensive curriculum for Fall 2008 and Winter 2009 trimesters. We have a specificr need for face-to-face instructors to teach at either our downtown or suburban locations. Particular needs include Auditing, Tax, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Accounting Information systems, and others. Prior teaching experience is not required – just a passion for education and teaching. Franklin will provide you with the tools and training you need to become a successful instructor.
Minimum qualifications for these part-time positions are:
- Master's degree
- An applicable professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA, CFE, CISA)
- Eight or more years of relevant work experience
- Computer literacy
- A desire to teach adult student learners
Franklin University is a student-centered, quality teaching environment serving primarily working adults. Franklin’s accounting courses are offered in both on-campus and online formats. Most courses are 15 weeks in length with some being 12-week or 6-week courses. Most face-to-face courses meet in the evening once per week.
