Director of Alumni Relations

The Director of Alumni Relations will be responsible for increasing the engagement of alumni with the University and the community by developing meaningful programs and initiatives that raise the public profile of the university and increase donor support. This position will outline a strategic plan and long-range vision for alumni relations. Responsibilities will include managing the coordination of alumni events; conducting research to identify prospective alumni donors and funding opportunities at both the individual and community levels; implementing processes to improve alumni tracking and contact information; and cultivating relationships with students and alumni to create a spirit of support for the university.

Qualifications: A master’s degree is required, along with 3-5 years of proven relationship management experience with increasing responsibility. Also essential are experience coordinating events and campaign activities, proven experience in budgeting and resource management, strong computer skills, outstanding organizational skills, and oral and written communication skills. A Franklin University alumnus is preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, willing to work flexible hours, and available to travel as required.
