Economics Adjunct

 

Franklin University seeks applicants for a part-time faculty position to teach Economics classes.  The University promotes a student-centered, quality-teaching environment, focused on working adults.  Founded in 1902, Franklin University has been the leading educator of nontraditional students in central Ohio and enjoys the strong support of the local business community.

We are seeking an adjunct that can be flexible to teach Economics for classes that are either six or twelve weeks in length. These may be either daytime or evening classes. These sessions will initially be taught face to face, but there will be the opportunity to be trained to teach classes on-line.  The successful candidate will have a good sense of fiscal and economic awareness, plus have had at least one economics course in their academic career.  A business background such as financial advising, investment and other financial experience is a plus.  Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Minimum educational qualification is a master’s degree and computer literacy.
