With tuition that's among the lowest 10% in the nation, Franklin works hard to keep your education affordable.

Franklin University offers you many financial aid options to help cover your school expenses, making your education affordable. We’ve even provided you with this checklist to apply for financial aid so you are able to determine your eligibility for Federal, State, and institutional grants.

Note: International students are not eligible to apply for Federal or State funds.

Financial Aid Checklist :

Steps 1 through 3 must be completed in order for financial aid to be processed.  Complete the Declaration of the Outside Tuition Assistance Form in step 4 (if applicable).

1.   Apply for admission and declare your major.

2.   Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2009-2010 (Summer 2009;Fall 2009; Winter 2010).  Franklin's school code for the FAFSA is: 003046

Note: Do not submit your community college's school code on the FAFSA if Franklin will be processing your financial aid.

Priority processing deadlines for maximum aid eligibility for 2009-2010 are:

  • Summer 2009 - March 15, 2009
  • Fall 2009 - June 15, 2009
  • Winter 2010 - October 15, 2009                                             

Although, with classes starting every 3 weeks, you can complete your FAFSA at anytime during the term. By meeting the priority processing deadline, your application will be considered for campus-based aid.


3.  Complete the CCA Student Contract for:   2009-2010

4.  Complete the Declaration of Outside Tuition Assistance Form (if applicable) for.  2009-2010

5.  Apply for Scholarships.
